I just downloaded 1.6.1 and was wondering if Adsence ads can be used on the header , Footer or side of the classified script.
Is there a place in the Admin panel for it or should I use add it to the script itself?
Hi,
No there's no where in the script to add such things, you need to edit the template your self. In order to do it, open the header or the footer from the template you want to.
Excellent thanks Just installed and there was one error leading to the url of the site.
Loaded the admin panel and all settings where ok
I think it added the path of the server to the url.
I also checked and there is an error log in the directory of Admin.
[11-Mar-2010 06:00:04] PHP Warning: require_once(../includes/config.php) [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /XXXXX/XXXXX/XXXXX/public_html/XXXXXX/openclassifieds/includes/admin/access.php on line 3

I will ad the adsence to the header and footer it would be nice to be able to do this at the admin panel.
I have the script in a sub directory of the root of my forum when its time to go live can I move it to the root and when I take the forum down.
Thanks for a great script the Ham Radio Community will benefit from it.
I was wrong there is a problem with the path
404 Not Found
The requested URL /hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds-/home/phpbbmod.htm does not exist.
I checked the config for server path and its correct
/home/phpbbmod/public_html/hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds
/hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds-/home/phpbbmod.htm
this is not from open classifieds :S
The server path I don't know if it's the right one either.
if you want we have an installation service ;)
Thanks for the offer on install but its installed just needs to be configured correctly.
This is my server path
/home/phpbbmod/public_html/hamradiostop.com/
leads to hamradiostop.com
why is it adding
-/home/phpbbmod.htm to /hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds
I tried
/hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds/ in admin and didn't make a difference
I thinks ads that because the apache it's been executed from different folder than the one you upload the files.
I think you should try (and seems correct): /home/phpbbmod/public_html/hamradiostop.com/openclassifieds
if not contact your hosting provider and explaind them you need the full path ;)
