Please for those who are using 1.6.1

there's a bug in /includes/themes.php

Comment or erase this line:

if (strpos(strtolower($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']),'windows')>0) return true;

This makes IE to display the mobile theme, also you can just disable the mobile theme from the settings panel under the look and feel configurations.
